MotoSocial ("the App") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use the MotoSocial mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

A. Information You Provide:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and username provided during registration.
• Profile and Garage Data: Your profile picture, details of your motorcycle (brand, model, year), and photos you upload to your garage.
• User Content (UGC): Listings you publish in the Marketplace (photos, descriptions, prices) and messages sent to other users via the chat feature.

B. Information Collected Automatically:

• Location Data: To show you nearby riders, events, or marketplace listings, we collect your precise or approximate location data (with your permission). This data may be stored in geohash format via Firebase.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (UUID).
• Usage Data: Analytics regarding your interactions within the App (e.g., screens visited, features used).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• Location-Based Services: To display nearby motorcyclists, events, and gear for sale on the map.
• Communication: To facilitate messaging between buyers and sellers.
• Safety & Security: To detect and prevent abuse, spam, or content that violates our community guidelines.
• App Improvements: To fix bugs and analyze performance (via Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics).

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, we may share information in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your public profile (name, motorcycle details) and approximate location (if enabled) are visible to other MotoSocial users.
• Service Providers: We use third-party services like Google Firebase to host data and facilitate our infrastructure.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. User Generated Content & Safety

MotoSocial is a community-driven platform.

• We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
• Reporting & Blocking: Users can Report inappropriate content or Block abusive users directly within the App.
• Reported content will be reviewed, and verified violations will result in content removal and/or account suspension within 24 hours.

5. Data Deletion (Account Deletion)

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can perform this action directly within the App via the Settings > Delete Account menu. Once initiated, this process is irreversible, and all your photos, chats, and listings will be permanently removed.

6. Children's Privacy

MotoSocial is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
